What Are You About?

In order to choose what your blog is about, you first need to think about what you are about. Spend some time thinking about what you value, what your interests are, your goals and aspirations, your passion and drive. If you can identify what keeps you going day in and day out, you can blog about it, and I bet it will be pretty easy for you as well.

I figured everyone is with friends and family today to celebrate Christmas. I know I am. However, I want to take some time out to wish all John Chow dot Com readers a very merry Christmas. I hope you get everything you wished for and that your holiday will be a happy and safe one.

Maybe it was because it was Christmas but for whatever reason, I decided that Dot Com Pho would be on me today. I sent out that a tweet that anyone showing up for the weekly Pho meet up would get free Pho and free Broke DVD as well. Upon hearing that, Michael Kwan flew back from frozen Edmonton. We had a total of ten people attend the free Pho day, which is pretty good considering that many of the regulars were away for the holidays. Everyone who showed up had a great time and ate more Pho than they normally would if they had to pay for themselves. Stephen Fung really went to lunch! I think he accounted for 1/4 of the entire bill.
