Google owned Ad network Doubleclick has posted a list of the 1000 most-visited sites on the web. If anyone can post such a list, it would be Doubleclick since measuring traffic for advertiser clients is one of the things they do. Doubleclick decided to leave out Google from the list, probably because Google owns them and didn’t want to show any bias. If Google was included on the list, they would be number one. As it stand, the Web’s most-visited site is Facebook, with 540 million unique visitors and a mind blowing 570 BILLION page views per month.

Facebook Group “Everybody Draw Mohammed Day” has been banned by the Pakistan government. Malaysia bila lagi. Pakistan is blocking access to Facebook in response to an online group calling on people to draw the Prophet Mohammed, officials said Wednesday. “Obviously it (the blocking of Facebook) is related to the objectionable material that was placed on Facebook. That is why it is blocked,” said Khoram Ali Mehran of The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority. Read also Is Facebook Haram or Halal

I’m not exactly sure when or where these photos of Steve Jobs and Bill Gates together on the same stage were taken but they’re being used for some extremely funny captions. If you can come up with a better caption, I would love to see it. My favorite caption is the one about flipping a coin. Which one do you like?

The US military has appointed its first senior general to direct cyber warfare – despite fears that the move marks another stage in the militarisation of cyberspace. The newly promoted four-star general, Keith Alexander, takes charge of the Pentagon’s ambitious and controversial new Cyber Command, designed to conduct virtual combat across the world’s computer networks. Recently, Twitter wrote about a bug in their system that allows you to force people to follow you without their permission. Twitter said they have closed that security bleach but it seem there is another bug in their system. For the past few days, I have been receiving @replies in my twitter stream from users who claim I forced them to follow me.
